The myth of the center-pull ball

I can probably count on one hand the number of times I have successfully found the end of yarn in the center of the center-pull ball. ARGH! I always end up pulling out about 15 yards before stumbling upon that elusive end. Would someone please tell me that I am not alone here?! It's a great concept in theory...this pretty little ball of yarn, but evil lurks beneath that fluffy exterior. Be warned!

Once again, proof of a conspiracy between the yarn, the needles and the pattern. It is like "The Perils of Pauline." The inability to find the end of that fluffy little ball of string will not thwart our mission!!!! And just like our herione, WE SHALL FOIL ALL ATTEMPTS TO DISRUPT OUR ABILITY TO CONQUER THE KNITTERVERSE!!!!!!!

Ahhhh, but sweetheart, it is a center -pull ball, you just pull more of the center than other people...actually, I think you inherited that trait from your marmee.
It isn't center pull it is pull center out...lol
